Q.How many people can stay?
A. The number of people that can be accommodated varies depending on the facility.
The Kusa no Niwa and Kibun no Niwa can accommodate up to 6 guests, while the Oak no Niwa can accommodate up to 9 guests.
Oak Garden has a large number of guests and is often used to accommodate families and group trips.
However, if you have preschool children who do not require futons, more than this number of guests may be accommodated.

A. Basically, there is no age restriction, but the Oak Garden is a two-story building with a large window on the second floor.

A. Fires are strictly prohibited at the Niwa no Yado series of lodges. Please refrain from smoking anywhere on the premises, including the garden, entrance, and parking lot.
The inn is made of wood and the paper screens are very flammable. We ask that anyone who cannot follow these rules refrain from staying at the inn.

Q. I hear that winters in Takayama are cold. Is there heating?
A. Yes, all Niwa no Yado series facilities are fully air-conditioned.
In addition, the Grass Garden is equipped with kotatsu, kerosene fan heaters, electric blankets, and other amenities (available from roughly November until the end of April), so you can stay warm even during the cold winter months.

A. From the first snowfall until early April, there is a risk of freezing even if there is no snow.
