8. About the rooms
Please take off your shoes when entering the tatami room.
We provide slippers for you to use when moving between the tatami and earthen floors.
Kibun Garden is an old traditional Japanese building, so the ceilings and beams are low.
Please also note that there is a step between the corridor and the tatami mats.

9. This is the floor plan of "Kibun Garden."
There is one tatami room that can be separated by a shoji screen, and the room and living room can be used as a bedroom.
We can provide up to six futons depending on the number of guests.
10. Other points to note

Open flames are strictly prohibited in the Kibun Garden. As the building is made of wood and is highly flammable, please refrain from smoking or using open flames anywhere on the premises, including the garden and entrance.
(All rooms are equipped with fire alarms. As the property is located in an important cultural property preservation area, the fire alarms are linked to those of neighboring houses.)
If this rule is broken, a fine of 100,000 yen will be charged.
We ask for your understanding in order to ensure the safety of our guests and neighboring residents.

Kibun Garden is located in a quiet residential area, and the building's structure makes it very susceptible to acoustic echo.
Please be quiet, especially between 8pm and 7am, so as not to disturb our neighbours.
11. Thank you for reading to the end.
We hope you enjoy your stay at Kibun Garden and have a wonderful time in Takayama.
