Once you leave the Miyatoge Tunnel, the countryside of Hida Ichinomiya unfolds before you, captivating you with its nostalgic and comforting scenery.
From June to July, the rainy season passes and the daytime temperatures rise towards summer. You can enjoy the scenery as it gradually changes into the summer sky. At dusk, the setting sun reflects off the water, creating a different look.
Shirakawa-go is located an hour's drive from the inn. New recordings are being made, and the rice fields where rice planting has been completed feature the Gassho-style houses and distant mountains reflected in the pictures, creating a view that can only be seen at this time of year.
