Cancellation and change policy for hotel reservations

In the event of cancellation due to personal reasons, regardless of weather or traffic conditions, we ask that you pay the following cancellation fees.

When we receive a reservation from you, the inn will hold the guest room as reserved for exclusive use from the date of reservation until the date of your stay.
Our accommodation is limited to one group per day, so on that day, the accommodation will be reserved only for that one group (maximum occupancy varies by accommodation).
Therefore, we ask for your understanding in advance that we have a strict policy.

What is "Customer Convenience"?

In addition to cases where we receive a cancellation request from the customer, we will also consider cancellations to be due to customer circumstances in cases of no-show (not arriving at the inn on the scheduled day of stay) without notice, or for reasons such as illness, weddings, funerals, etc.

What is "Weather and Traffic Conditions"?

If weather or traffic conditions cause the trip to be cancelled, and alternative means of transportation are available, the trip will be considered cancelled at the customer's discretion.

What does "7 days before the planned stay" mean?

If you cancel within 7 days of your scheduled arrival date, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

When no cancellation fee applies

If an emergency (such as a typhoon, earthquake, or other disaster) occurs and evacuation orders are issued by local authorities, or if we determine that your accommodation is dangerous or that transportation is cut off making it difficult for you to come, we will consider your safety to be our top priority and will not charge a cancellation fee.

Regulations regarding changes to accommodation reservations

  • On the day of your stay
    • If you wish to change the dates of your reservation, please let us know at least 8 days before your planned stay.
      * Generally, we only accept changes to your stay dates once.
      *If your desired date is not available, we may not be able to accommodate your change.
    • As a general rule, we cannot accept changes to your check-in date between 7 days prior to your planned check-in date and the day of your stay.
  • In case of number of guests
    • If you wish to change the number of guests, please let us know at least 8 days before your planned stay.
    • In principle, we cannot accept changes to the number of guests between 7 days prior to the planned check-in date and the day of the check-in date. However, we may be able to accommodate your request, so please contact us directly.
    • Please note that some accommodations have a minimum number of guests and may not be able to accommodate your request.
